The youth parliament under the Duma of the Stavropol Territory is an advisory and advisory body that operates on a voluntary basis. In its activities, the Youth Parliament is guided by the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation, the regulatory legal acts of the Stavropol Territory, these regulations and the regulations of the youth parliament.
The parliament of 2022 included initiative representatives of the youth of the Stavropol Territory, including five students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University.
“In each of you, I see great interest, enthusiasm, potential and a thirst to work for the benefit of the Stavropol Territory. This is the first youth parliament, which was formed for the period of office of the regional Duma, that is, until 2026. And you are endowed with the right of legislative initiative. Therefore, I would very much like the new convocation to contribute to the development of regional legislation. I wish you all fruitful work and great success,” Nikolai Velikdan, chairman of the Stavropol Regional Duma, opened the first session of the youth parliament.
The postgraduate student of the Stavropol State Agrarian University Maxim Anuprienko became the chairman of the youth parliament of Stavropol. He named the priorities in the upcoming work and expressed readiness for fruitful joint activities with the regional Duma in the preparation of legislative initiatives on socially significant issues and the development of youth policy.
Also at the meeting, the names of the relevant committees that will oversee issues in various areas were determined. These are legislative activity and protection of the rights of youth; development of youth parliamentarism, interaction with associations and information policy; youth entrepreneurship and youth employment; development of the urban environment, ecology and tourism; social policy, health protection and physical development of youth; education, scientific and innovative activities of youth; as well as patriotic, civil and spiritual and moral education.
