Students of Economics, Accounting and Finance and secondary vocational faculties of the University took an active part in the discussion session. Their reports presented at the strategic session were devoted to the main tools of marketing activities: strategic analysis, branding, Internet marketing, targeting, etc.
The event was organized by teachers of the Department of Economic Theory, Marketing and Agroeconomics:

· Elena Aleksandrovna Kosinova, Associate Professor
Olga Nikolaevna Onezhkina, a graduate of the Faculty of Economics, a leading marketing analyst, Candidate of Economic Sciences, was invited to work at the strategic session.
A special place in the discussion was given to the discussion of the profession of "marketer". A marketer is one of the most sought-after specialists studying the market of goods and services of the company. Its purpose is to identify the needs of potential customers, to form a product offer that meets these needs, as well as to build a promotion and sales system that will bring the company the greatest profit.
The profession of a "marketer" is to manage the perceived value of a product for sales and profit growth. In order to work effectively, a marketer must have certain skills and develop their competencies in specific areas.
At the conclusion of the strategic session, it was emphasized that these competencies and personal qualities may not be fully expressed, but should be improved by specialists as they gain experience and professional growth.
