A lesson in courage at the Faculty of Economics

Duty, honor, patriotism, feat, hero - not just words! On the eve of the celebration of Victory Day, the Faculty of Economics hosted a "Lesson of Courage", the event was attended by students and curators of the Faculty of Economics, and among the invited guests were students of the Faculty of Secondary Vocational Education.

The Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Doctor of Economic Sciences Professor Olga Nikolaevna Kusakina made a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of preserving the memory of the heroic deeds of our fathers and grandfathers.

The event was organized and held by lecturers of the Department of Information Systems, who served for several decades in the ranks of the armed forces of the Russian Federation, Associate Professor Rachkov Valery Evgenievich, Associate Professor Troshkov Alexander Mikhailovich and Professor Zhuk Alexander Pavlovich.

An interesting, fascinating excursion into the history of the Great Patriotic War and the feat of the Great People was prepared, awards and some accessories of wartime officers were also presented from the personal archives of teachers.

The event was held in a cozy and friendly atmosphere and did not leave anyone indifferent.

There are events whose significance does not fade from the inexorable run of time and which are not erased from the memory of people, and the time gap only emphasizes their greatness and decisive role in world history. History teaches a person to love his people, the land on which he lives.

The memory of these events is timeless, carefully preserved and passed down from generation to generation, it survives for centuries: it is not just a property of human consciousness to keep traces of the past, memory is a link between the past and the future.
