Face-to-face regional stage of the All-Russian competition among pupils of educational institutions of rural settlements and small towns "AgroNTI-2022"

The competition is aimed at the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation "On measures to implement the state policy in the field of education and science" dated May 7, 2012 No. 599 and the federal law "On scientific, technical and innovative activities in the Russian Federation". The goal is to familiarize and involve students of educational institutions located in rural areas and small towns in work on the technological priorities of the National Technology Initiative (NTI), including: the use of digital technologies in agriculture, the tasks of robotization of the agro-industrial complex, the use of UAVs in agriculture. The competition is aimed at realizing the creative potential of students, as well as their early professional orientation.

On the basis of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, the AgroNTI competition has been held for the fourth year in a row.

This year, students in grades 5-11 competed in the following areas:

- Agrocopters (the use of unmanned aerial vehicles to solve problems in the agro-industrial complex);

- AgroRobots (automated control systems for machinery);

- AgroCosmos (using satellite imagery and web GIS technologies);

- AgroMeteo (weather forecasting, creation of a weather archive, analytics);

- AgroBio (biological protection against diseases and pests of agricultural crops);

- Dobropchel (the use of digital technologies in traditional beekeeping) a new nomination from 2022.

The competition was attended by representatives of more than 30 schools and institutions of additional education.

Guests from Apanasenkovsky, Andropovsky, Arzgirsky, Blagodarnensky, Budennovsky, Georgievsky, Grachevsky, Izobilnensky, Ipatovsky, Kochubeevsky, Krasnogvardeisky, Levokumsky, Mineralovodsky, Neftekumsky, Novoaleksandrovsky, Novoselitsky, Petrovsky, Sovetsky, Trunovsky, Turkmensky, Shpakovsky districts of the Stavropol Territory came to the university, participants from the Krasnodar Territory, the republics of Dagestan and North Ossetia-Alania, more than 200 participants in total, winners of the correspondence stage.

According to the results of competitive tests in 6 nominations, 6 winners were determined.
