Meeting of the student scientific association of the Faculties of Agrobiology and Land Resources, Ecology and Landscape Architecture

At the Faculties of Agrobiology and Land Resources, Ecology and Landscape Architecture, a meeting of students with the leadership of the scientific and innovative training center and the Boiling Point of the university was held.

As part of the work to involve first and second year students in scientific and project activities, a meeting of the student activists was held with the head of the scientific and innovative training center, Ph.D. Associate Professor Antonov Sergey Nikolaevich.

The meeting was opened by the Dean of the Faculties of Agrobiology and Land Resources, Ecology and Landscape Architecture, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Nikolaevich Esaulko. He noted that the effectiveness of the development of scientific activity at the university is built primarily on the activity of student scientific societies and various scientific and creative associations. “Now a huge number of various competitions and grants are being held, in which our students must take an active part and always strive to win,” said Alexander Nikolayevich.

Antonov Sergey Nikolaevich announced in his speech that in the fall a large student scientific and educational forum would be held at our university. He also told the students about the scientific competitions and grants currently being held at the Stavropol State Agrarian University as part of the implementation of the Priority 2030 grant program, and encouraged students to actively participate in them.

Cherkashin Dmitry and Ilyina Alina told the students about the structure of the student scientific society of the university, talked about the possibilities of using the Boiling Point space when holding student events of various kinds.

The deputy dean for scientific work, candidate of agricultural sciences Aisanov Timur Soltanovich spoke in response. He spoke about the structure of SSS faculties, gave examples of activities that contribute to the involvement of elementary students in scientific work and project activities. On behalf of the faculties, Timur Soltanovich made a request to the leadership of the scientific part of the university to systematically conduct educational intensives for students with the involvement of competent experts from various fields of knowledge, to learn how to write applications for grant programs of both scientific and social orientation.
