From 7 to 13 June Sochi hosted the open European championship in powerlifting and power sports "Olympia-IX". The tournament was attended by 650 athletes from five countries of Serbia, Abkhazia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Russia.
Students of Stavropol State Agrarian University of the faculty of secondary vocational education Marina Shuba and Alexander Deryazhentsev won in the category of 18-19 years old.
Among juniors, students of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources Ivan Masalov and Danil Pavlyuchenko won in their weight categories, and their coach Nina Vyacheslavovna Mukhortova won in the open category.
