Demo day of working prototypes of projects of the VIII design and educational intensive "From Idea to Prototype"

19.06.2022

The demo day of the best student projects of the spring wave 2022 was held at the Boiling Point - Commune (Moscow). This spring, more than six thousand students from 80+ universities from all over Russia took part in the intensive. From March to June, participants developed their own prototype, worked on cases from business partners, and went through an individual educational trajectory.

Two projects of SSAU teams were selected to participate in the demo day. Most of the tasks of the prototypes are aimed at solving the technological needs of the FoodNet, EduNet, HealthNet, SportNet, HomeNet, WearNet markets and certain segments of the NTI markets.

Two project teams were selected from Stavropol State Agrarian University for a demo day by federal intensive experts.

The Healthy Drink Kings project was presented by students of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources. The innovative idea includes a technology for the production of a functional drink with improved consumer properties based on buttermilk and natural juice. This technology is relevant for regions where dairy products are produced on an industrial scale (Stavropol and Kuban). A large number of dairies dispose of buttermilk (skimmed cream) and do not use it as a product. SSAU students came up with a drink based on buttermilk and natural juice, which will not only make production waste-free, but also delight consumers with taste and health benefits.

The project "Smart Pulsator" from students of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology is a device that allows you to significantly increase the amount of daily milk yield in cows. To date, analogues are produced abroad, and the main task of the prototype is to create a competitive device of domestic production. The prototype device has already been tested in practice.

The teams presented their projects to the expert jury, the students got acquainted with the presented NTI markets, industrial companies and employees of the University 2035.
