Four students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University became the owners of grant funds from the Innovation Promotion Foundation

More than 1000 applications were submitted for the competition. The best innovative ideas received a grant of 1 million rubles. The main goal of the competition is to make universities a place to launch startups, to stimulate youth entrepreneurship in the country. In addition to grants, start-up entrepreneurs were also able to receive support in the form of an annual academic leave, which they can spend on developing a business idea. At the same time, the project can be implemented both alone and in a team.

The Innovation Promotion Foundation (Bortnik Foundation) summed up the results of the Student Startup competition (first stage). The winners were 650 people from among the students and graduate students of the universities of the Russian Federation. Including 62 applications of students of agricultural universities became grant holders.

Students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University adequately presented their developments and were among the winners:

Boldyrev Ivan Alexandrovich, direction: New devices and intelligent production technologies. Startup: Development and research of a microcontroller system for monitoring the moisture content of crop seeds using wireless technologies.

Goryainov Nikita Sergeevich, direction: New devices and intellectual production technologies. Startup: Development of an electromagnetic apparatus for processing animal waste products to speed up the processes of their preparation for use in agriculture.

Laptev Sergey Mikhailovich, direction: Biotechnologies. Startup: Development of a polycomponent mixture for the production of gluten-free products.

Malykhina Marya Vladimirovna, direction: Biotechnology. Startup: Development of technology for a functional drink based on sorghum syrup.

The main condition for participation in the competition: the willingness to develop a new product, product, technology or service based on their own scientific and technical and scientific and technological research that has the potential for commercialization. A student's startup must necessarily be based on an idea or groundwork containing his own intellectual contribution.

Startups represented in 7 directions: digital technologies, medicine and health-saving technologies, chemical technologies and new materials, new devices and intelligent production technologies, biotechnologies, resource-saving energy, creative industries.
