The first meeting of the regional services of Russia on livestock breeding was held under the auspices of the Department of Livestock and Breeding of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. The main task of the meeting is to discuss new requirements for breeding organizations in connection with the release of Order No. 336 of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia "On approval of requirements for types of breeding farms." The program of the workshop on the application of new requirements for breeding farms, as well as the assessment of the breeding value of dairy cattle and the formation of regional databases included a master class on control milking of breeding cows based on photo and video materials of the control-assistant service created at the Faculty of Biotechnology of the university.
The meeting was held on the basis of the Head Center for Reproduction (JSC GCV) and was in the nature of a practical seminar, in which 201 participants from 70 regions of Russia took part.

Dmitry Vladimirovich Butusov, Director of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Breeding of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation,
Galina Fatykhovna Safina, Deputy Director of the Department,
Nadezhda Nikolaevna Opalikhina, head of the tribal sector of the administration of the Republic of Crimea,
Nadezhda Yuryevna Chekmeneva, leading livestock specialist-breeder of JSC GTSV and others.
Stavropol Territory and Tatarstan were singled out as regions with an effective organization of the regional livestock breeding system for participation in the seminar.
In his report, the head of the Center for the Management of Highly Productive Animal Genetic Resources and the Laboratory for Breeding Quality Control of Milk, Professor of the Basic Department of Private Animal Science, Selection and Animal Breeding Sergey Aleksandrovich Oleinik presented the main stages in the formation of a regional system for managing highly productive genetic resources of animal husbandry, developed on the basis of the methodology of the International Committee on Animal Registration (ICAR).
During the discussion of innovations in animal breeding, the Department of Animal Husbandry and Breeding recommended using the practical experience of scientists from Stavropol State Agrarian University to organize control-assistant services at the regional level. Of particular interest was also the printed matter of the scientists of Stavropol State Agrarian University, presented by methodological recommendations in the field of breeding dairy cattle breeding.
At the same time, for a wider involvement of the university departments in the implementation of the Priority 2030 program, lists of regions were formed, where, in agreement with the university library, printed materials that are in demand by Russian livestock breeding practitioners will be sent.
