Digital Chairs" are being opened at universities participating in the Russian Ministry of Education and Science's "Priority 2030" program. A new joint project of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation is aimed at creating opportunities to improve qualifications and get a new profession in information technology.
"Digital Chairs" is a project implemented at Stavropol State Agrarian University, as a participant of the Priority 2030 program, which provides a process of additional professional training aimed at mastering digital competencies in creating algorithms and programs suitable for practical application, or skills in using and mastering digital technologies needed to perform a new type of professional activity.
Students will be able to acquire new IT competencies through additional professional programs / IT professional retraining programs that will be developed together with industry partners and industry experts.
After successful completion of the program and passing the exam in the form of a public defense of the project, students will receive a state diploma of professional retraining.
In October 2022, 365 students of StSAU started the following professional retraining programs:
- 3D modeling and programming
- Digital marketing
- Programming and database
The training includes internships in organizations of the real sector of the economy and the IT-sphere. Students will undergo a comprehensive assessment of the development of digital competencies. For this purpose, an assessment center has been created on the basis of Innopolis University. After passing the exam in the form of a public defense of the project, students will receive a state diploma on professional retraining.
