The project session "Marketing tools in the digital realities of agribusiness" was held at the Faculty of Economics on the eve of the Marketers' Day. The event presented the results of the students' project work on in-depth analysis of markets and development of strategic marketing solutions for their development.
The work of the students was assessed by Ekaterina Agalarova, Associate Professor at the Department of Economic Theory, Marketing and Agroeconomics. A team of researchers from the 3rd and 4th years of study in Economics presented a project on researching the market for vegetable milk, which envisages opportunities for developing production in the Stavropol Territory.
Within the project quantitative characteristics of the market (actual and potential capacity, consumption level, level of self-sufficiency, distribution of shares between competitors) were considered; the target audience of the product was identified; experience of Russian and international companies in the sphere of vegetable milk production and sales was studied; production potential of the regional economy was determined for the development of this direction; strategic prospects for development and functioning of regional market of vegetable milk were formed.
The representatives of the faculty of 2-3 courses of secondary vocational education programme "Commerce (by branches)" (profile "Sales Manager"), presented the results of the research related to the influence of branding tools on consumer behaviour, confirming their hypotheses with the interaction with the audience of students present at the event.
