In honor of the Day of Russian Science, the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Modern Research as a Response to the Challenges of the New Time" was held at the Faculty of Electrical Power Engineering. The event was dedicated to scientifically based solutions to applied problems and problems in various technological processes in the agro-industrial complex and industry.
The Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Power Engineering, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Maxim Mastepanenko addressed the students with a welcoming speech:
“Today it is very important to understand that we are facing strategic tasks in the field of engineering, reliability of power supply systems, electrical technologies and digital technologies. Time dictates its own rules, you need to constantly learn something. Not so long ago, representatives of the Skolkovo school conducted a large refresher course at our university. They shared with us the main slogan of science and education today: learn through research, explore through learning. There is no other way for us,” he said.
Within the framework of the conference, reports of young scientists who received funding for the implementation of their projects in various grant programs were heard. Three students of the faculty won the "Student Startup" competition and received one million rubles each for the implementation of their developments. The winners of the UMNIK Innovation Assistance Fund program spoke. They won grants of 500 thousand rubles each. The winner of the university grant of laboratory assistants-researchers also presented his development.
The report “Development of a method for increasing the efficiency of spraying plants using aerosol electrification” was presented by Fatima Shidakova, winner of the UMNIK program, 4th year student;
The report “Development and research of a digital measuring system for continuous monitoring and diagnostics of the state of oil-filled electrical equipment based on the assessment of humidity and impurities of transformer oils” was presented by Natalia Stavitskaya, winner of the UMNIK program, 4th year student;
The report “Development and production of a high-tech efficient saw based on a linear electric motor to facilitate the work of a pruner in industrial horticulture” was presented by Magomed Kaitov, winner of the “Student Startup” competition, graduate student of the 1st year of study;
The report "Development and research of a microcontroller system for monitoring the moisture content of crop seeds using wireless technologies" was presented by Ivan Bondyrev, winner of the "Student Startup" competition, 2nd year undergraduate;
The report "Universal linear robot for plant maintenance" was presented by Erik Klinchaev, winner of the university grant of laboratory assistants-researchers, 2nd year student.
As a result of the conference, a collection of scientific articles will be published with uploading to the Elibrary Scientific Electronic Library.
