The model of the digital department of Stavropol State Agrarian University received the highest score of All-Russian experts

As part of the "Marathon of digital departments", the staff of the Stavropol State University told how to get an IT profession at the university for free. The performance of our experts took the first place according to experts and the online audience.

In 2022, SSAU, being a participant of the federal project "Priority-2030", became one of 114 pilot universities in which "digital departments" were launched, allowing to receive additional education in the field of IT for free. At the moment, 360 people are studying at the department, but even more students will get this opportunity in the new stream.

On the basis of the Institute of Additional Professional Education of the Stavropol State University, three digital educational programs are being trained:

"Programming and Databases" is a practical course on the design and use of software and database development tools. As part of the course, students will be able to master modern software development standards and modeling notation, which are used to formalize the requirements and structure of software solutions. The head of the program is Dmitry Litvin, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of Mathematics Department.

Digital Marketing is a training program for students to solve professional problems using specialized service in the field of Internet marketing and media space. Students will master the basics of Internet marketing, methods and services for conducting marketing research, approaches to the formation and work with semantic cores in order to promote websites and mobile applications. The head of the program is Yulia Gunko, Candidate of Economics, Head of the Center for Advanced Vocational Training.

"3D modeling and programming" is a course that will teach you how to read drawings, create digital duplicates of parts and assembly units of products, put into practice all stages: from idea to manufacture. Also, students will be able to take a step-by-step programming course, which includes training in writing programs using the functions and libraries they have passed. The head of the program is Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering, Automation and Metrology Department Sergey Anikuev.

A prerequisite for the implementation of programs is the involvement of industry specialists. Employees of leading companies of the region not only participate in conducting classes, but also select candidates for employment among students.
