SSAU students completed their studies on the additional general education program "History of Agriculture in the Stavropol Territory". The courses affected students from all faculties of the university.
The purpose of the program is to study the history and development of agriculture in the Stavropol Territory. The audience learned more about Pyotr Arkadyevich Stolypin and his agrarian reform, got acquainted with the processes of modernization of the economy of the North Caucasus. The course also addressed topical issues of the current state of the agricultural sector of Stavropol. In subsequent years, crop and livestock production has been actively improved and changed, and with the development of modern technology, the development of agriculture has increased. The additional program "History of Agriculture in the Stavropol Territory" helped the students to understand all these especially important issues.
“The acquired knowledge taught students to substantiate their own point of view on key issues of the regional history of agriculture, which is especially important for students of the agrarian university,” noted Olga Shmatko, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor.
Classes under the program "History of Agriculture in the Stavropol Territory" with the participation of the staff of the Department of Philosophy and History under the auspices of the Institute of Additional Professional Education" and the federal project "Priority-2030". At the end of the course, students received certificates.
