SSAU hosted an international conference on regional economic systems

The IX International Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual Problems and Achievements of Regional Economic Systems" was held at the Faculty of Economics.

The organizer of the annual event was the Department of Economic Theory, Marketing and Agroeconomics represented by Associate Professor Agalarova Ekaterina Grigorievna. Within the framework of the conference, the results of the research work of postgraduates, undergraduates and students were presented.
Scientific works on the topic of economics and business were presented by undergraduates of the Stavropol State Agrarian University. Alisa Mareeva, Chief Specialist of the Department for the Development of Investment Activities and Public-Private Partnerships of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Stavropol Territory, master student of the program "Economy and Business in the Conditions of Digitalization" presented the materials of an analytical work devoted to the study of the investment climate and investment development processes of the Stavropol Territory for the period from 2016 to 2022 gg. The report noted the factors hindering the development of investment activity and identified the prospects for investment policy in the region.
Yana Chernova, manager of the Center for Advanced Professional Training, Master's student of the program "Economic and legal support of business", presented the results of the scientific and practical work "Branding as a tool of the company's marketing strategy". The result of the presented work was the development of a brand book for a company operating in a highly competitive environment. The special role of marketing tools in business promotion was also proved.
At the end of the conference, students of the direction "Economics", profile "Economics of enterprises and organizations" Elena Novokhatskaya and Vladimir Kalinin presented a report on the topic "The role of marketing in the development of the agro-industrial complex." The paper noted that marketing activities play a crucial role in the development of agro-industrial enterprises, especially in the context of digitalization of economic processes.
As a result of the conference, the organizers prepared a resolution, which noted the most significant factors and tools that have a significant impact on the socio-economic development of the region.
