Scientists of the Stavropol State Agrarian University won prizes at the international exhibition of innovations "HI-TECH" and the XV international biotechnology forum "RosBioTech".
The HI-TECH International Exhibition of Innovations is one of the first events in Russia in the field of promoting high technologies, innovations and investment projects in the scientific and technical field, where scientific organizations meet and potential investors and participants have the opportunity to effectively present and promote their innovative projects at market. On the final day of the exhibition, the winners of the Contest "The Best Innovative Project and the Best Scientific and Technical Development of the Year" were traditionally awarded. The developments of SSAU scientists won 4 gold and 1 silver medals. The projects were devoted to a comprehensive assessment of the development of rural areas, assessment and forecasting of the biodiversity of pasture areas, support for agro-industrial complex specialists in the field of beekeeping, processing poultry waste and assessing the financial security of a business.
Also within the framework of the anniversary XV international biotechnological forum "RosBioTech" "Innovative biotechnologies in medicine, industry and agriculture. International Scientific and Technical Cooperation as a Basis for Sustainable Development of the Economy” hosted an Exhibition and Presentation of Biotechnology Market Producers and a Competition for Innovative Research, Development and Projects. SSAU scientists presented 13 projects, each of which was awarded gold medals. Scientific developments covered a wide range of topics: the ability of winter wheat plants, phytoremediation technologies, immunological preparations, differentiated irrigation norms for potatoes, protection of agricultural landscapes of the Central Ciscaucasia, assessment and forecasting of the biodiversity of pasture areas, prevention of parasitic diseases, machine milking, climatic and geographical location of bee parks, assessment of investment attractiveness of agricultural organizations, assessment of the development of rural areas, provision of a nutritious and healthy diet, processing of poultry waste.
- The proposals, of course, contribute to the development and modernization of the agro-industrial complex not only in Stavropol, but also in Russia. I thank my colleagues for their work! We will go further, implement projects and work for the benefit of agriculture,” said Vladimir Sitnikov, rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University.
