Discussion of the results of the professor-teaching and subdivisions’ of the University rating in 2014 at Academic Councils of faculties

On 25 the of February the discussion of the results of the rating evaluation of the professor-teaching staff and subdivisions of the University took place at Academic Councils of the following faculties: Socio-cultural service and tourism, Technological Management, Veterinary Medicine, Agro-biology and land resources, as well as of Ecology and landscape architecture.

The report marked features of the rating in 2014, the coordinated work of departments to verify the data submitted by teachers, outlined strong faculties and departments, marked areas for improvement. In particular, the following suggestions were singled out:

- Strong positions of the faculty of socio-cultural service and tourism, which has become a leader in the rubric of International activity.
- Undisputed leadership of the Faculty of Agro-biology and land resources on social and educational work.
- Leadership of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Technology Management on research work and qualification section.

As a complement to the existing options for evaluation of the deans and department heads there were presented the results of the weighted average amount of their personal ratings and the faculty / department.
The following trends in the development of rating were announced:
- The rating of student achievement.
- Revision of standards for positions.
- Use the results of the rating in the contest for an ideal employee
- Use the results of the rating in the course of performance indicators in monitoring programs to ensure the quality of education of the Stavropol State Agrarian University in the years 2015 - 2017.
