Training of financial literacy for workers of agricultural sector on is completed

On the 16th of September 2016 ended ceremonial presentation of certificates of professional development by financial literacy training program for workers of agricultural enterprises, corporate and private individual farms.

All twenty-five students are residents of Trunovsky district. They are employees of the Closed Joint Stock Company “Kirov State farm” or individual entrepreneurs in agriculture.

For ten days the students studied the peculiarities of making personal and family budgets, also business plans. They learned about the rules of rational choice of loans and advances, conduct on the agricultural insurance market. A separate topic of the program - does not get caught on the financial tricks of swindlers.

Training of workers of agricultural sector was carried out in two stages. At the first stage, in remote settings, the students have learned the theoretical material and performed tasks, prepared by teachers of accounting and financial and economic departments of the university. In the classroom on the 15th and the 16th September organized by the Institute of Additional Professional Education of the university. Practical exercises were conducted to consolidate the theoretical material.

Learning outcomes of representatives of the Closed Joint Stock Company “Kirov State farm” and of Trunovsky district entrepreneurs will be analyzed by teachers of the university prepared this training program. If necessary, it will be adjusted and then used to improve the financial literacy of the 350 workers of the agricultural enterprises, corporate and private individual farms of Stavropol region.

The program was developed according to the contract concluded between the university and Moscow Foundation for Enterprise Restructuring and Financial Institutions Development. The aim is to form for workers of agricultural sector the correct behavior in the sphere of monetary circulation. Training is conducted in the framework of the project of the Ministry of Finance and the World Bank "Assistance to improve the financial literacy of the population and the development of financial education in the Russian Federation."
