Our volunteers are participants of the International Orthodox Forum

Activists of Volunteer Detachment "Volunteer" Alena Alefirenko and Ekaterina Sukhorukova presented the Stavropol Territory at the international orthodox volunteer forum "Dobroleto-2017" in Sergiev Posad!

The forum was held from July 16 to 22 at Blagoveshchensky Field near the Trinity-Sergius Lavra. Participants of the forum had an opportunity to visit interesting master classes, meet with star guests, communicate with young people from Russia and foreign countries and make excursions to the most beautiful places of the city.

The forum was rich in interesting guests, among them were Anton Makarsky, "Christmas" group, State Duma deputy Alexander Fokin, opera singers Lyudmila Lyakhina and Nikolai Yeronin, members of the International Olympic Committee, as well as representatives of the Moscow Patriarchate.

The key event of the forum was the liturgy held by His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of All Russia at the Assumption Cathedral of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra. The Liturgy took place on July 18, the day of the relics of St. Sergius of Radonezh.
