In SSAU the photo-electric module of solar energy is introduced

At electropower faculty within the limits of preparation of experts of an applied bachelor degree and carrying out of scientific researches new innovative technologies of use of alternative renewed energy sources actively take root.

Near to the educational building of faculty the innovative photo-electric module of solar energy by capacity of 1 kw is established. It is intended for transformation of energy of the sun to the electric. Transformation of a sunlight to an electricity occurs in the photo cells made of a semi-conductor material.

The next decades the considerable part of the world population will start to use energy from photo-electric systems. Thanking it traditional necessity of a construction of large expensive power stations and distributive systems will leave in the past. Alternative power sources with success can be applied in all spheres of ability to live of the person. For example, the photo cells which have been built in building materials, can carry out ventilation and illumination of premises; in consumer goods – work of the manual tool and motorists.

In territory of SSAU the photo-electric module is established in a complex with modern means of automation, control and management of systems of power supply of the enterprises and individual consumers.
