Water is life!

So consider the future ecologists – the students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, awarded the title of winners of competition of scientific works in the field of water resources.

Kuban Basin Water Department of the Russian Federal Agency of Water Resources and the Krasnodar regional public organization of the All-Russia Society for Nature Conservation previously announced a competition of student research, the focus of which was "The use and protection of water resources of the river basin Kuban". Active participation in this research competition was attended by students of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture of the Stavropol State Agrarian University.

Future environmentalists presented to the competition committee work general theme: "Monitoring of rivers flowing through the territory of the resort-city of Kislovodsk," (A. Grigoriev) "Greening processes wastewater while ensuring the safety of water bodies" (D. Kirichenko), "Evaluation environmental impact shore protection works on the river Bolshaya Laba river near the villages of Kurdzhinovo and Psemen of the Urupsky district in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic "(Tambiev R.)," ecological monitoring of water bodies river Kuban in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic "(Khalikov VA) "Evaluation of bioassay methods of ecological state of the river Egorlyk near the village of Krasnogvardeisky" (Shaposhnik C.).

Summing up the results of the competition were awarded certificates three students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University: Tambiev Ruslan (supervisor - Mandra Y.), Khalikov Valeria (supervisor - Stepanenko E.) Shaposhnik Stanislav (supervisor - Kapaeva Y.). Grigorieva Anna and Kirichenko Daria were awarded certificates of honor for their active participation in the competition.

Congratulate students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University with their achievements came the deputy head of the Kuban basin water management Dolinsky Gennady and chief expert of the department of water resources in the Stavropol region Dokina Lubov, who noted the high quality of student work.

On completion of the event was reached an agreement on further cooperation of the Stavropol State Agrarian University and the Kuban Basin Water Department in terms of exchange of experience and passage of an industrial practice of students.

The title "Laureate of the Competition" was awarded to students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University Valerie Khalikova and Stanislav Shaposhnikov, as well as a student of the North Caucasus Federal University Roman Sedykh. Diplomas awarded to participants Ivan Bakumenko, Salamatnikova Alice, Anna Grigorieva and Daria Kirichenko.
