Ensuring environmental safety in the workplace

Speaker of the regional seminar, designed to create an understanding of the fundamentals of effective environmental management at the enterprise, was made by Associate Professor of the Department of Ecology and Landscape Construction of the Stavropol State Agrarian University Yu. Mandra.

Within the framework of the activities dedicated to the Year of Ecology in Russia, the Stavropol State Agrarian University together with the Center for Ecology and Environmental Protection held a regional workshop on "Ensuring Environmental Safety in Production", which was attended by managers and specialists from the Stavropol Territory, representatives of Russian Federal Agency for Oversight of Natural Resource Usage of North-Caucasian District, environmental organizations of the region.

The candidate of biological sciences, associate professor of the Department of Ecology and Landscape Construction of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources of the Stavropol State Agrarian University Yulia Mandra was the speaker of the seminar. She told the audience about the basics of ensuring the environmental safety of production, the structure and documentation system in the field of environmental protection in the enterprise, the requirements for the organization of industrial environmental control.

The organization of such events is one of the mechanisms for environmental education and education, and the event schedule, which includes both theoretical and discussion parts, allows to analyze the most acute issues and helps the nature users to form a socially responsible image of the enterprise in modern conditions.
