Three gold medals of Agrarian University

In the competition for the North Caucasus Cup in power lifting, the team of Stavropol Agrouniversity and their titled coach were the best.

On April 1-2, about 400 sportsmen from all regions of the North Caucasus, as well as Astrakhan and Rostov regions took part in competition in power lifting.

Angelina Tsys, a 2nd year student of the Electric Power Department of Stavropol State Agrarian University, became the winner in the open personal team tournament - the North Caucasus Cup in power lifting- among the girls (in the category up to 48 kg). It was her debut at the high level competitions. A teacher of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of SSAU, coach and honored athlete Nina Mukhortova won in the category of 60 kg. Master of Economics Faculty of Agrarian University Dmitry Prachev became a leader in the category of 100 kg.

Now a strong team of students from Agrarian University, marked by exclusive medals weighing 110 grams and diplomas of winners, will train for the next major tournament in power lifting - in early June Sochi be will host of the European Championships.
