Towards Goodness
Students of the Electric Power Department and teachers of the Agrarian University met with the Stavropol Imam Rasul Hadji.
The guest of the Agrarian University spoke about the religious situation in the region, which unites factors in the formation of a culture of tolerance, the most important canons of Islam. Rasul Hadji expressed his own opinion about the state of spiritual and moral education of the youth and answered questions that interested both students and teachers. The imam stressed the importance of communicating with the youth, since the role of spreading negative ideas through information channels and social networks among the younger generation is now very much off scale.
As the organizers of the event noted, the representatives of the dean's office of the electric power faculty, the council of the electors of the electric power faculty, the department for educational and social work of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, the chair of philosophy and history, such meetings are primarily aimed at fostering respect, goodness and understanding in students, correct religious education of youth.
At the end of the meeting, students of the Electric Power Department spoke about the importance of building tolerance, both in politics and in the public consciousness. They spoke in favor of the need for religious education, interfaith and interfaith dialogue in order to achieve civil unity. Participants in the conversation - the dean of the faculty, associate professor M.A. Mastepanenko, Deputy Dean, Associate Professor Sh.Zh. Gabrielyan, head of the department for educational and social work, associate professor T.I. Gunko, head of the Department of Philosophy and History, Professor S.P. Zolotarev, Professor I.I. Gulyak, Associate Professors V.I. Kurchev, TN Kravchenko and E.V. Tufanov thanked Imam Rasul Hadji for an interesting conversation and expressed the hope that the meetings will be systematic.
