The activist camp is a traditional event aimed at introducing freshmen to the activists of Stavropol State Agrarian University. Every year, hundreds of students gather on the territory of the faculties of veterinary medicine and biotechnology to learn how to work in a team. This year, the SSAU Activist Camp was held for the 30th time.

A group of scientists from the Faculty of Biotechnology of Stavropol State Agrarian University visited the city of Ufa on a working visit. As part of the trip, the approach to working with broiler chickens and hatching eggs of chickens was studied. Also, a series of lectures by a professor from Stavropol took place at the Bashkir State Agrarian University.

On November 17, 2022, the International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists and Specialists on Sustainable Development, Investments and Financial Risks - "Finathlon Forum" will be held. Students, graduate students, university professors, researchers, professionals under the age of 35 are invited to participate in the Finathlon Forum. The conference is interdisciplinary in nature, and therefore the specialties of the participants are not limited. Participation in the forum provides for a competitive selection of articles.

The first meeting of the regional services of Russia on livestock breeding was held under the auspices of the Department of Livestock and Breeding of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. The main task of the meeting is to discuss new requirements for breeding organizations in connection with the release of Order No. 336 of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia "On approval of requirements for types of breeding farms." The program of the workshop on the application of new requirements for breeding farms, as well as the assessment of the breeding value of dairy cattle and the formation of regional databases included a master class on control milking of breeding cows based on photo and video materials of the control-assistant service created at the Faculty of Biotechnology of the university.

In the Republic of Tatarstan, on the basis of the Kazan Expo IEC, the IV industry championship on WorldSkills standards in the field of information technology DigitalSkills 2022 was held, organized by the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and ANO "Agency for the Development of Professional Excellence. In parallel with the branch championship, an interuniversity championship was held in Kazan. A student of Stavropol State Agrarian University showed good results.

The Scientific Library of Stavropol Agrarian State University has completed a cycle of introductory excursions and classes with first-year students on the basics of information and bibliographic culture - "The Scientific Library of SSAU is the first assistant in studies and research". The first-year students got acquainted with the reading rooms and departments, services and resources, the rules of work in the library, received the textbooks necessary for studying the disciplines.

An educational event was held for students of accounting and Finance and Engineering and Technology faculties of SSAU, which considered patriotism as a complex and multifaceted phenomenon and the value of public life in Russia.

The annual solemn ceremony of awarding scholarships to the best representatives of Stavropol students took place in the city administration. Students of higher and professional educational institutions, students of secondary schools, institutions of additional education, young athletes gathered for the award.

As part of the implementation of the University Development Program "Agroinopolis-2030", carried out within the framework of the strategic academic leadership program "Priority-2030", the Stavropol State Agrarian University continues fruitful cooperation with the strategic partner of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Rosselkhoznadzor" in the Stavropol Territory.

Stavropol State Agrarian University has won the grant competition of the Ministry of Education of Russia on the popularization of the Russian language. 147 applications were submitted, of which only 67 organizations became winners. This week, the Faculty of Socio-Cultural Service and Tourism of Stavropol State Agrarian University celebrated its 10th anniversary and looked into the future at a foresight session where students fantasized about what the tourism sector would look like in 2050.

The first acceleration program "Agro&InfraUP" has been launched at Stavropol State Agrarian University. This is a unique project, for the implementation of which the team of our university won a multimillion-dollar grant from the ANO "Platform of the National Technological Initiative". The Agro&InfraUP program is designed to provide the university's project teams with methodological and expert support for fruitful work. Students, graduate students and teachers of the Stavropol State Agrarian University were among the laureates of the regional youth award in the field of science, innovation and initiatives "Prize 2022", conducted by the Committee of the Stavropol Territory for Youth Affairs. This year, more than 40 young scientists submitted their scientific papers, 17 of them became winners.

The international scientific conference "Innovative scientific developments - the development of the agro-industrial complex" is dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the 110th anniversary of the founding of the Stavropol Research Institute of Agriculture, the 90th anniversary of the founding of the All-Russian Research Institute of Sheep and Goat Breeding and the 85th anniversary of the Stavropol experimental station for horticulture. The dialogue of scientists took place in the North Caucasus Federal Scientific Agrarian Center.
